CMI Statutory representatives

Czech Metrology Institute was founded by the Law Nr. 576/1990 Sb. v platném znění rozhodnutím Ministry of Economy of Czech Republic from 21.12.1992 with the date of issue to 1.1.1993. Concerning § 1. point 5. of the law Nr. č 272/1996 Sb., the responsibility based on the laws and connected juridical documents in domain of technical standards, metrology and testing was transferred on the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Czech Republic (MPO). CMI is the subject directly subordinated to MPO from 1.11.1996 – Government executive agency established by official deed MH ČR čj. 521 385/92-44 from 21.12.1992 in valid issue modified officical deed issued by 16/2009, čj. 1313/09/02700/1000 from 10. 3. 2009.

CMI General Director has been appointed by the Minister of Economy and he has been confirmed by the Minister of Industry and Trade. The other statutory representatives have been appointed by the CMI General Director in accordance with applicable law.
